For the past
30 of my 76 years I have from time to time
had severe back pain. The periods of
severe pain would come and go, but to some
extent it was always there. In August of
2002 I slipped and landed very hard on my
lower back. The hospital said the x-rays
showed no fractures.
I had many
weeks of therapy. This helped but the pain
was still severe. Getting in and out of bed
was a nightmare. I could not turn over
without screaming, and it was impossible to
sleep on my left side. Getting under the
steering wheel of my car was so painful that
I couldn't drive.
During her
last visit the therapist suggested that I
see a Chiropractor, and recommended Dr.
Roberto. My daughter who lives in
California also kept insisting that I see a
Chiropractor. At this time I was in such
pain that even thinking about an examination
scared me. However, I finally made an
appointment.
On my first
visit Dr. Roberto gave the treatment while I
was sitting in a chair because the pain kept
me from lying on my stomach. The next visit
I was able to sit on the table. AHHH,
progress. By the 5th visit I was
able to get into my car and drive myself to
my appointment.
Now, getting
into and out of bed is no problem. I can
turn over without waking up or screaming. I
can stand long enough to prepare a meal.
And, last week I felt well enough to bake a
cake for Dr. Roberto and his staff.
Everyone in
the office is friendly, efficient, and very
interested in my progress. The care. Dr.
Roberto is very gentle in his treatments,
knowing exactly where the pain is located.
I have recommended him to several friends.
He has given me a new lease on life.
